Adventures
Life beyond code—hikes, travels, and moments from around South Africa. A glimpse into what fuels creativity outside of work.

Waterfall Bluff
Standing at Waterfall Bluff—one of only seven waterfalls in the world that plunge directly into the ocean. The Wild Coast of Pondoland is raw, untouched, and far from the tourist trail. Getting here requires a proper hike through rolling green hills and Xhosa villages, but that's exactly what makes it special. When you finally reach the edge and watch freshwater cascade into the Indian Ocean, you understand why some places are worth the effort to reach.

Atlantic Ocean Adventures
There's no better way to experience Cape Town than from the water. Kayaking out from Oudekraal with Lion's Head watching over you, the Atlantic stretching endlessly ahead. The kelp forests below are teeming with life—on a good day, you'll spot seals playing in the waves and maybe even a sunfish drifting by. It's a reminder that sometimes the best adventures are right in your backyard, waiting for a calm morning and a paddle.

Yosemite National Park
A business trip to the US gave me the chance to visit one of America's most iconic parks. I usually prefer secluded places off the beaten path, but Yosemite is genuinely breathtaking—there's a reason it draws millions. Half Dome rising from the valley floor, waterfalls thundering down granite walls, ancient sequoias standing guard. Some places earn their fame. This is definitely one of them, and a must-see for any adventurer passing through California.
More adventures to come. Stay tuned for updates from the Western Cape and beyond.
